CIVIL SERVICES


The selection of the candidates for the admission in JCJTF Delhi centre will be done through transparent three steps process.
First Step :
Interested candidates are required to register themselves on the JCJTF website, Registration will be opened in the month of February. Eligibility criteria for candidates:
1) Candidate must be graduate in any stream or must have completed all credits in credit system.
2) A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years at the time of admission in the JCJTF centres.

Second Step :
Written Examination
Registered candidates will be called for written examination which will be conducted at various locations across the country depending upon the number of applications received. Some of the centres will be New Delhi, Rajkot, Ahmadabad, Indore, Jaipur, Pune etc.
A written examination will have two papers. First one is general studies paper. This paper will be objective type with multiple choice questions . Second paper will be essay writing.

Written examination will be conducted in the month of April.

Third Step :
Personality Test
Shortlisted candidates from second step will be called for personality test. Personality test will carry 50 Marks.
Personally test will be conducted in the month of April-May

Result Declaration :
Candidate's marks obtained in the written examination and personality test will be added for declaration of final merit list.

Syllabus For Paper 1-
General Studies ( same as UPSC preliminary examination )
• Current events of national and international importance.
• History of India and Indian National Movement.
• Indian and World Geography-Physical, Social, Economic Geography of India and the World.
• Indian Polity and Governance-Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights Issues, etc.
• Economic and Social Development-Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector Initiatives, etc.
• General issues on environmental ecology, bio-diversity and Climate Change - that do not require subject specialization.
• General Science.

Syllabus for Paper 2 -
Essay Writing
Candidates will be required to write essay on one topic from the variety of subjects. Topics will be from social, economic, political or current affairs arena. Candidates will be expected to keep closely to the subject of the essay to arrange their ideas in orderly fashion, and to write concisely. Credit will be given for effective and exact expression.

JUDICIARY SERVICES


The selection of the candidates for the admission in JCJTF Delhi and Indore centre will be done through transparent two steps process.
First Step :
Interested candidates are required to register themselves on the JCJTF website, Registration will be opened in the month of February. Eligibility criteria for candidates:
1) Candidate must be a law graduate.

Second Step :
The registered candidate will be called for an interview. Subjects knowledge and aptitude of the candidate will be checked in the interview.

Result Declaration :
Academic performance in 10th standard, 12th standard and graduation will be considered along with marks obtained in the personality test for the final declaration of merit list.
